Dr. Elizabeth Comer: Elizabeth Anderson Comer is an archaeologist who serves as the president of the Catoctin Furnace Historical Society, Inc. (CFHS) and president of EAC/Archaeology, Inc. She serves as a principal investigator for the groundbreaking DNA research team with Harvard University, the Smithsonian Institution, and 23andMe that is connecting descendants to their enslaved ancestors who toiled at Catoctin Furnace at the time of the American Revolution.
